Indie

It's finally summer in San Francisco, indian summer to be percise. I don't know why they call it that but it basically means that its dress season, which is freakin' awesome because dresses, especially ones like these, seem to automatically make me feel even prettier and even happier, two of my favorite feelings.

This bright tangerine button down dresss imediately reminded of something Audrey or Twiggy would wear and the nipped waist and subtle flare add fun to the classic shape. I got this dress from a thrift store back home in Palmdale, the thrift stores there kind of rule a little because not many peeps know the treasure that is thrifting so I always find cool stuff that no one else appreciates. This dress was only like 6 bucks or something, maybe less, and since I love orange and leopard print together, the comfy little kicks were perfect, they added to the easy, cute but comfy vibe of the look.

Ch-Ch-Cheetah: The Obsession Continues

By now, it is more than evident that I have an enormous obsession with prints. I loathe all that is plain and basic, and revel in bold, bright pride! Cheetah print just happens to be my most favorite of them all! I love how versatile it is and how depending on the type of piece you wear, it can very easily be sexy, bold, and seductive as well as innocent, fun, and even sophisticated when in the form of a fun pair of socks or a debonair, structured blazer. Cheetah print makes you feel just a little more sexy, and instantly adds a punch of intrigue and confidence to any look; basically a five hour energy shot in sexy, wild style, animal print form, no?

This is a shot from a recent photoshoot I had a little bit ago. I'm obsessed with these pants I got from Rave! And yes, I changed my hair again, I always do, over and over, it's much more fun that way, no?

This is a shot from a shoot I did with my best friend a long while ago, I'm wearing a cheetah print skirt from JCPenney that I decided looked cuter as a top.

This post is extra long as a gift because I've been very busy and have treated this blog as a neglected child and for that I'm sorry. In addition, I totally did the whole 'Japanese school girl' costume for Halloween and I can't wait to debut the photos. However, since I've been lagging on posting and I insist on posting in chronological order, I have a few more posts I must publish before I can post my costume. If you don't understand what I mean now, um..you will :)

CheetahLicious

For the longest of longs I have always longed to mix prints (hee hee, just used long 3x). However, I had always been wary of it because I didn't quite get the science/formula behind the whole different prints/one unit deal. For some enviable reason unknown to me however, editorials regulary feature all-across-the-board, what-the-heck mixed print looks flawlessly and I swear, if one were to attempt the exact same look piece for piece, instead of achieving amazingness in fabric form, we'd likely only accomplish a mess of mixed emotions rather than an array of maginificently mixed printage (assuming printage is a real word of course).

Cheetahs are, hands down, my absolute favorite animal! They are astonishingly beautiful and the fastest animal in the world to boot! I would trade my car in for one in a heartbeat, talk about riding in style ;)

CheetahLicious

YUM- Cheetah print is definitely the legwear equivalent of true love. One can never be mundane in cheetah print, it's like pimp juice in fabric form, no??? Especially when it's red cheetah print because you know red is a turned up color in itself.

Everytime someone asks meeh to describe my personal style I suddenly become afflicted with a cocktail of Tourette's syndrome and chronic stuttering due to the fact that I can't describe it; it's like describing how water tastes, you know??? How the hell do you do that??? My point exactly...I can, however, throw some adjectives at you:

Different. Eccentric. Bold. Daring. Fun. Distinctive...basically, I'm into keeping it interesting. I have suuuper beef with 'simple' looks...as a matter of fact, simplicity is my kryptonite: KEEP OUT!!!
