Youth in Revolt

It's that time of year again, where there are so many candles on my cake that it resembles a bonfire instead of dessert, and everyones asking me what I want to do, offering so many great options that I'm paralyzed with indeciscion to the point of just hiding in bed the whole weekend to avoid choosing the wrong venture. Well actually I still have a few weeks til' my birthday arrives but since time freaks me out I always feel like it's tomorrow. I'm super happy though because this year I'm not on suicide watch in lieu of my descending youth. I've decided that one is truly as young (or as old) as one feels and since my best days are spent dancing to my IPod in public places and cuddling up with stuffed Stitch and Hello Kitty while painting my nails in pink and glitter, I officially declare that 26 is the new..10.

I looove this, esp. the gold pants and the fedora, they're perfect understated compliments. In addition, Michael Jackson was the original military jacket rocker, before Balmain even thought of it.

My mum got me a suuuper bangin' MJ shirt that I will dutifully and honorably be wearing in celebration of his 51st birthday! I'd like to pair the look with glitter blasted dark denim pants, however, I'm not too eager to pull out the dark denim just yet, summer is still here! I'm also thinking of pinning the MJ buttons on a vest..
