Making a Spectacle

It seems that fashion has officially brought nerdy back; trouser pants, knee high socks, poor boy caps, and beloved spec[tacles] have been attacking both runway and sidewalk for quite some time now. With young Hollywood abounding like never before, ultra cute under dogs ruling the screen, four eyes are definitely looking better than one!

This jumper was a last minute purchase from Buffalo Exchange on Haight in SF, to think I almost bounced without this sic, dream garment! My cousin insisted it was goofy and told me to put it down three different times but the quirky, cute deer images combined with the cotton ruffle hem just begged to play. The fun images and the garment's bright but slightly droned color palette allow for an array of variously hued additions; and later, when I noticed the random phrases "Knock, knock" and "Go ahead"crazily scribbled onto the piece's front, my mind immediately pranced with thoughts of Japan and I knew that purchasing this jumper was no longer a question but a mandatory task. I decided to wear it with my new specs, which I'm head over heels in love with because glasses have such a cute, intelligent and personality filled look to them, not to mention my near sightedness rivals that of geriatrics. Lastly, not that I needed another reason to love this piece of perfection in animated-clothing-form, but the fact that my tutu compliments it flawlessly assures, without the slightest question, a fashion fantasy come true!
