This is my very first year since the eigth grade that I've been without a valentine, oddly enough I'm 100% okay with that! It is surprisingly refreshing not feeling compelled to crash diet a week before the big day in order to look amazing in the La Perla lingerie that after Saturday night, will get stuffed in the back of the drawer anyway, never to be worn again. This year I choose to celebrate my independence and freedom from the stresses, responsibilities, and all around drama that come with relationships and revel with pride in being single (I feel a Sex and the City DVD marathon coming on...)
